Descriptive statistics from data

Enter one-variable data into a table or list, run the calculator's one-variable statistics command, and read the mean, standard deviations, and count.

Goal

Find the descriptive statistics for the data set 4,7,7,8,10,12.

Open the list editor: press and choose 1: Edit.

Enter the data values in L1: 4, 7, 7, 8, 10, 12. Press after each value.

Run one-variable statistics: press , move to CALC, choose 1-Var Stats, set List = L1 (type L1 with ), leave FreqList blank, and choose Calculate.
